Jack Underwood photograph collection, 1904-1949.

The collection consists of copy negatives, a contact sheet, and photocopies of sixteen black and white photographs documenting operations of the Carolina, Clinchfield and Ohio Railway and other Appalachian railroads, ca. 1900-1920, including scenes of engines, bridges, workers, derailments, etc. One photograph is of the 1949 board of elders and deacons of Watauga Christian Church, Watauga, Tenn.
